iRest is modern version of the ancient meditation practice of yoga nidra. It’s a powerful tool for healing trauma that I recently discovered. There are guided meditations that come with the book. The main thing is to begin practicing. Although a ways into my healing journey, I noticed deeper calm, connection to myself and others – and other benefits that go along with a better regulated nervous system.
